My Story

I have struggled with chronic illnesses my whole life. These include things like Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, POTS, ME/CFS and Mast Cell Activation System (MCAS). I've also struggled with gastrointestinal disorders such as abdominal vascular compressions, SIBO, Gastroparesis and navigating life while being tube-fed. I also have experience working with victims of violence or abuse as well as knowledge of how such events can impact ones life in a multitude of ways. I make it my mission for all of my clients to feel genuinely heard in their healthcare concerns and create a collaborative environment between the patient, the patients body, and the doctor and to provide critical health insights and coaching every step of the way. I look forward to meeting and working with you to help you better understand your own health.

Diaries of the Chronically Ill; my own struggle with complex chronic illness

2/8/2026 -

I am currently about 4 weeks post-operative dual MALS release and SMAS repair. Because of my cooccurring conditions like EDS, POTS, and MCAS surgery recovery has been difficult and I've had some setbacks. I'm not tolerating my J-feeds well so I'm mainly TPN dependent. My oral intake is slightly better than before surgery and I'm making sure to put good foods into my body, following as closely as a BRAT diet as possible as directed by my surgeon. I've recently been able to add peanut butter to toast or English muffins and that helps for a great longer term energy release from the protein; something I need desperately to pace myself with ME/CFS. My mobility remains an issue at times as well, I use a walker while out due to May-Thurners, EDS and POTS but plan on decorating it with beautiful artificial flowers and vines later this week.
